1.127D Pendragon Test-Server Patch Notes

World

  • In an effort to lessen the impact of Crowd Control abilities at lower levels where there are fewer counters, the starting delve durations of Mesmerize, Root/Snare, and Nearsight abilities will now be scaled down automatically based on the caster's level.
    • This reduction scales down linearly from levels 49 to 1 with a 2% reduction at 49 and a 50% reduction at level 1.
      • For example, a level 1 casting a 16s delved duration mesmerize spell on a target (of any level) will have the starting duration reduced to 8 seconds (50% of the starting delve). All other +duration% bonuses and target resistance values will then use that starting value of 8s to determine the actual duration of the spell.
      • Continuing that same example, a level 25 casting the same 16s delved duration mesmerize spell on a target (of any level) will have the starting duration reduced to 11.84 seconds (74% of the starting delve). All other +duration% bonuses and target resistance values will then use that starting value of 11.84s to determine the actual duration of the spell.
      • Continuing that same example, a level 39 casting the same 16s delved duration mesmerize spell on a target (of any level) will have the starting duration reduced to 14.08 seconds (88% of the starting delve). All other +duration% bonuses and target resistance values will then use that starting value of 14.08s to determine the actual duration of the spell.
      • Continuing that same example, a level 49 casting the same 16s delved duration mesmerize spell on a target (of any level) will have the starting duration reduced to 15.68 seconds (98% of the starting delve). All other +duration% bonuses and target resistance values will then use that starting value of 15.68s to determine the actual duration of the spell.
    • Durations of these effects remain unchanged when cast by level 50 characters.
    • Melee style snare durations are not affected at any level.
    • Overall this change is intended to lessen the impact of long duration Crowd Control spells in the battlegrounds and during the Caledonia events but please note that it will still affect monster (PvE) and pet targets as well since the reduction is caster-based.
  • Several improvements have been made to the Catch Up in Caledonia Event based on player feedback. Please check the event announcement for details!

Bug Fixes

  • Endless Conquest (free) accounts can now concentration buff their pets and be buffed by other group members' pets when grouped.
  • Buffs from other group members' pets should be removed properly when ungrouped.
  • Fixed a bug where Focus damage shields were not properly scaling down damage when used against monsters that are several levels higher than the caster. This fix will make some PvE encounters more difficult for a focus pet to hold aggro.
