The Last Stand of the Picts

Posted by Tim Chappell | 2012 Nov 05 19:15 -0500 GMT

Reports from the front lines indicate that Pictish forces have been depleted by defenders of the three Realms. King Cruithne has instructed his barbarian fighters to make their last stand and the heartless King has ordered All Pictish invaders caught retreating to be summarily put to death.

Scholars from the Realms have determined that without reinforcements, the Picts can last for no more than 1 day until they are entirely vanquished. Once the Pictish forces have been defeated, Elders will be able to close the portal to Caledonia to prevent the highland invaders from returning.

Join your realm today to finish off these vile invaders!

Dark Age of Camelot Helps to Tie the Knot

Posted by Tim Chappell | 2012 Oct 30 13:07 -0400 GMT
Friday was a very special day – not only for two people, Jennifer and Kai, who got married, but also for the whole team at Mythic Entertainment because the wedding took place in our office.

Kai has worked as a Community Manager for Dark Age of Camelot since 2002 – first in Europe and now directly for Mythic. Jennifer is a dedicated Dark Age of Camelot player; they met in-game. When both of them spontaneously decided to get married away from their families and friends, the place for the ceremony was an easy pick: the office of Mythic Entertainment in Fairfax, surrounded by the people who share their passion for games and continue to develop titles like Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online, Wrath of Heroes, Ultima Online or Ultima Forever.

Our teams took the opportunity to suit up and celebrate this very special occasion. Please join us wishing Jennifer and Kai all the best for their future. Do you know other couples who met in-game and got married? Check the comments in the Facebook post to see how many knots Dark Age of Camelot already tied.
