The Sigilbreaker

No one truly knows yet what the Sigils are, who made them, or why they were buried beneath our lands. But something stirs when blood is spilled nearby. From the shadows of war and ruins of battle, the creature awakens. Find it. End it. But know this, such a beast is not summoned easily. The cost is measured in the lives of the fallen.

Visit the Sigil Merchant to obtain the quest: [Sigilbound] The Sigilbreaker

The locations the Sigilbreaker will spawn at include either dock, and any 2 of the 6 tower locations on Ellan Vannin island (milegate towers, and the three ruined tower locations surrounding the center of Ellan Vannin).

• Once enough players are killed within the region of Ellan Vannin, The Sigilbreaker will spawn.
• This quest auto completes, auto renews, awards realm points (same value regardless of who gets the deathblow), and 125 Shattered Sigils.
• The Sigilbreaker will, most of the time, spawn at two towers when he spawns. This is intended.
• Spawn and death announcements will be visible in the combat window, including location of spawn.
• This quest awards full area credit (not range restricted).
  • Credit is not awarded within the throne room of Knoc Meayll, if you are stealthed at the time the Guardian dies, and past a certain time on the release timer

Sigil’s Echo

Players can visit the Sigil Merchant to obtain the gather quest: [Sigilbound] Sigil’s Echo

• This is a gather quest is based around the center of Ellan Vannin, auto completes but does not auto renew.
• Awards 500 realm points and 5,000 bounty points, repeatable.

Sigil’s Guardian

Players can visit the Sigil Merchant to obtain the quest: [Sigilbound] Sigil’s Guardian

• The Guardian of the Sigils spawns in the center of Ellan Vannin.
• This quest auto completes, auto renews, is area credit, and awards realm points, and 50 Shattered Sigils.
• This encounter is on a respawn timer.

Shattered Sigils

Shattered Sigils are a special event currency that can be traded at the Sigil Merchant event store to purchase valuable rewards.

• There is no limit to the amount of Shattered Sigils obtainable.
• The store has been updated to include new items including:
  • Headhunting Shrines (own realm now available!)
    • Note: Own realm Spiked Head trophies will follow in a later event
    • These are expensive, due to the work and time involved in originally obtaining these trophies
  • Headhunting Garden Shrines (completed with Spiked Heads)
    • Also intended to be expensive
  • Sigil Skins Box containing existing weapons with different effects including:
    • Golden Spear (not all weapon types)
    • Traldor’s Oracle
    • Braggart’s Bow
    • Stratus
    • Cyclopean Cloud Chaser
    • Sigil Harp (existing but previously unused skin)

Sigil Watchers & Ravagers

Camps of Sigil Watchers and Ravagers can be found throughout Ellan Vannin, there is no quest associated with these mobs.

• Slaying these mobs will award realm points and a chance drop of 25 Shattered Sigils.
• Note: realm points from these mobs are only awarded to group sizes of 5 and below.

 

Additional Event Notes

• The towers of Korazh, Deifrang, and Groach will be ruined for this event.
• Ellan Vannin has a 50% realm point bonus for the duration of the event.
• Killing players has a chance to award Shattered Sigils.
• The Pennine Mountains Teleporter NPC will be available at your realm’s relic town for Lilith Coin turn in until Friday, July 17th, 2026.
• Please remember only one event currency can be spent at an event store, so please place additional event currencies you have in your inventory into your /bank (saddlebags are considered inventory).

Sigilbound event on Ellan Vannin will run until Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 where it will then rotate to the maze area of Pennine Mountains.
