    It’s a Holiday Weekend! What better way to celebrate than to pour into Darkness Falls and obliterate members of the enemy realm! Realm Point, Bounty Point, Experience, and Crafting Bonuses will run throughout the weekend (read more below)

    The event will begin Friday, August 30th and run through to the morning of Thursday, September 5th. 

    Mythic wishes you a happy Labor Day Weekend and we hope you enjoy the action!!

    On Normal Ruleset servers, the following bonuses have been added:
    200% bonus to XP in all classic zones and dungeons.
    200% bonus to BP in all NF zones.

    In honor of U.S. Independence day,  please enjoy the following bonuses which will run from today, Wednesday July 3rd through Monday July 8th, 2013.

    On Normal Ruleset servers, the following bonuses have been added:

    UPDATE – 8:00 AM EDT: ALL LIVE SERVERS ARE BACK ONLINE!

    Tuesday July 2nd at 8:00 AM EDT / 1500 CET all live servers, including Gaheris and Archived Servers will be taken down for the deployment of patch 1.114b. The servers are expected to come back up by 4:00 PM EDT / 2200 EDT. The Camelot Herald will be updated with additional information when the deployment is underway.

    Highlights

    General

    • Coin received from player kills has been increased from 29g 59s 75c to 147g 98s 75c. These figures do not account for any coin zone bonuses. This coin is divided equally among groups.

     
    Archetype

    • The Champion Level disease spells have had their duration reduced to 30s in all realms.

     
     
    Items

    • All realm respec stones should once again be usable when a character below Level 20 or 40 has used up 1 of their 2 free realm respecs.

     

    • The following changes have been made to crafted Celerity tinctures:
    • Celerity tinctures now co-exist but do not stack with class celerity spells.
    • Stable Greater Celeric Netherium Tincture – 90s re-use, 5% celerity, 15 min. duration
    • Stable Greater Celeric Arcanium Tincture – 90s re-use, 10% celerity, 15 min. duration

     

    • The following Assassin Disease poisons have had their durations reduced as follows:
    • Level 4 – Minor Infectious Serum – 15s duration
    • Level 16 – Lesser Infectious Serum – 17s duration
    • Level 26 – Infectious Serum – 19s duration
    • Level 38 – Major Infectious Serum – 22s duration
    • Level 48 – Greater Infectious Serum – 25s duration

     

    • The following item stat caps have been increased to 25%. This will enable some of the New User Journey and Epic Mythirians to fully function:

    • The following Mauler Staff weapons have had their swing speed raised as follows:

    • The following Friar Staff weapons have had their swing speed lowered as follows:

    • Lithic Quarterstaff from 5.8 to 5.3s

     

    • Fixed an issue with the Aura of Magic Power ability dropping periodically when using Cloudsong, Crown of Zahur, Ensorcelled Mystic Gem, and Arcane-Infused Armband.

     

    • (Gaheris Only) The Relic Fragment abilities Dagda’s Wisdom, Merlin’s Guidance, and Valhalla’s Call now grant a greater chance to not be outright resisted instead of a bonus to resist pierce and spell damage.

     

    • Fixed an issue with the new Cabalist epic chest piece having +3 all melee instead of +3 all magic skills.

     
     
    Master Levels

    • The Sojourner ability Forceful Zephyr will no longer cast on players that have already been zephyred for the past 45 seconds. Attempting to use the ability on a player with immunity will result in “You cannot cast that spell” messages and will not reset the re-use timer.

     

    • The Warlord ability Cowering Bellow can no longer be resisted.

     

    • The Warlord ability Defending Martyr now reduces the user’s health by 50% instead of 90% and has had its radius increased from 350 to 2000 and reuse reduced from 1800s to 600s.

     

    • The Banelord ability Zone of Unmana once again interrupts enemy players.

     

    • The Banelord ability Agony Transmission now reduces enemy players’ health by 20% instead of 30% and the user’s health by 60% instead of 70%.

     
    Realm Abilities

    • The Mastery of Magery realm ability has been adjusted as follows:
    • Level 1 – 2% reduced to 1%
    • Level 2 – 3% reduced to 2%
    • Level 3 – 4% reduced to 3%
    • Level 4 – 6% reduced to 5%
    • Level 5 – 8% reduced to 7%
    • Level 6 – 10% reduced to 9%
    • Level 7 – 12% reduced to 11%
    • Level 8 – 14% reduced to 13%
    • Level 9 – 16% reduced to 15%

     

    • The Viper Realm Ability has been reduced as follows:
    • Level 1 – Increases poison damage by 10%
    • Level 2 – Increases poison damage by 25%
    • Level 3 – Increases poison damage by 35%
    • Level 4 – Increases poison damage by 50%
    • Level 5 – Increases poison damage by 75%

     
     
    Animist

    • Pulsing Bladeturn spells will no longer affect fire and forget pets.

     

    • Animists have been granted access to the Ichor of the Deep Realm Ability.

     

    • Animists may now summon up to 8 pets instead of 5.

     

    • Added a normal casting single-target Armor Factor Debuff spell into the Undergrowth Mastery specialization at the following values and Levels:
    • Level 30 – Spoil Armor – 50 AF Debuff – 3.0s cast – 20s duration – 19 power
    • Level 39 – Decompose Armor – 100 AF Debuff – 3.0s cast – 20s duration – 25 power
    • Level 49 – Decay Armor – 150 AF Debuff – 3.0s cast – 20s duration – 33 power

     

    • The Absorb Debuff line of spells in the Undergrowth Mastery specialization have been removed.

     

    • The Damage and Debuff spell in the Creeping Path baseline has had its Body Resistance Debuff reduced to an 8s duration at all Levels.
    • Added a Level 48 version of the Creeping Path baseline Direct Damage and Debuff spell as follows:
    • Level 48 – Wisp Conflagration – 179 damage (Body), -10% Body resist debuff – 8s duration – 33 power

     

    • Animists have been given a forced full skill and realm respec.

     
     
    Bard

    • The Health Regeneration Song in the Regrowth Specialization line has been moved to the Nurture Specialization line.

     

    • The Elemental and Soul Resistance Chants in the Music Specialization line have been moved to the Nurture Specialization line.

     

    • The Mesmerization Dampening buffs in the Nurture specialization line has had their buff values reduced as follows:
    • Level 16 – Cadence of Musing – 10% Mesmerization Dampening Buff
    • Level 26 – Cadence of Meditation – 20% Mesmerization Dampening Buff
    • Level 35 – Cadence of Focus – 30% Mesmerization Dampening Buff
    • Level 44 – Cadence of Concentration – 40% Mesmerization Dampening Buff

     

    • Bards have been given a new cure nearsight in the Rejuvenation specialization as follows:

    Level 25 – Cure Sight – 6s cast time – 24 power cost
     

    • Bards have been given a forced full skill respec.

     
     
    Berserker

    • The Axe specialization has been changed as follows:
    • The Level 29 Axe style, Havoc, has had its growth rate and damage slightly increased, defense penalty removed, and low to-hit bonus changed to a medium bonus.
    • The Level 44 Axe style, Arctic Rift, now has a 5s stun effect instead of a bleed. Arctic Rift’s endurance cost has been increased.
    • The Level 50 Axe style, Tyr’s Fury, now follows the side positional Glacial Movement instead of Havoc. Tyr’s Fury has had its endurance cost reduced and damage slightly increased.

     
     
    Bonedancer

    • The following adjustments were made to the damage scaling of the baseline Suppression Direct Damage spells:
    • Level 4 – Death of Souls – remains 13 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 6 – Death of Souls – 21 increased to 23 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 9 – Death of Souls – 29 increased to 33 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 12 – Death of Souls – 37 increased to 44 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 16 – Death of Souls – 49 increased to 58 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 21 – Death of Souls – 64 increased to 77 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 27 – Death of Souls – 85 increased to 99 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 34 – Soul Burial – 108 increased to 125 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 43 – Doom of Spirits – 136 increased to 157 damage (Spirit)
    • Level 48 – Death of Souls – remains 179 damage (Spirit)

     

    • Bonedancer’s level 29 totem spells in each specialization line have been changed to instant cast, player-targeted spells instead of 2s UI cast, ground targeted spells. Their reuse of 300s and effects remain the same.

     
     
    Cabalist

    • The Realm Rank 5 Realm Ability, Resolute Minion, once again makes the Cabalist pet immune to crowd control for 60s

     

    • The Nearsight spells in the Matter Manipulation specialization line have had their durations reduced to 1 minute.

     

    • The Single-target Disease spells in the Essence Manipulation specialization line have had their durations reduced as follows:
    • Level 3 – Cursed Vigor – 20s duration
    • Level 11 – Weakened Vigor – 30s duration
    • Level 22 – Damaged Vigor – 40s duration
    • Level 33 – Impaired Vigor – 50s duration
    • Level 43 – Crippled Vigor – 60s duration

     

    • The AoE Disease spells in the Essence Manipulation specialization line have had their durations reduced as follows:
    • Level 15 – Cursed Spirit – 30s duration
    • Level 24 – Cursed Soul – 40s duration
    • Level 34 – Cursed Vitality – 50s duration
    • Level 44 – Cursed Essence – 60s duration

     

    • The Emerald Simulacrum in the Spirit Animation baseline has had the duration of its disease proc reduced to 60s.

     
     
    Champion

    • Champions have been given a single target instant acuity debuff in Valor specialization as follows:
    • Level 8 – Dazing – 21 Acuity Debuff – instant cast – 1000 range – 5 power – 20s re-use – 60s duration
    • Level 17 –Major Dazing – 33 Acuity Debuff – instant cast – 1000 range – 11 power – 20s re-use – 60s duration
    • Level 24 – Greater Dazing – 43 Acuity Debuff – instant cast – 1000 range – 16 power – 20s re-use – 60s duration
    • Level 33 – Superior Dazing – 58 Acuity Debuff – instant cast – 1000 range – 22 power – 20s re-use – 60s duration
    • Level 45 – Ultimate Dazing – 69 Acuity Debuff – instant cast – 1000 range – 29 power – 20s re-use – 60s duration

     

    • Champions now receive the Pin style in Shield Specialization as follows:
    • Level 40 – Pin – Anytime – Low Endurance – Very Low Damage – 70% Snare, 6s duration

     

    • The Level 50 style, Annihilation, in the Large Weaponry specialization has been changed to a rear positional attack. This style no longer follows Gigantic Blow. The stun duration has been reduced to 7 seconds.

    • Clerics now have access to a lower Level cure nearsight spell in Rejuvenation specialization and the Level 40 version has had its cast time decreased as follows:
    • Level 20 – Cure Sight – 6s cast time – 15 power cost
    • Level 40 – Cure Senses – 3.5s cast time – 30 power cost

     

    • The Single-target Instant Heal spells in the Rejuvenation specialization line have had their recast timers reduced to 5 minutes.

     

    • The Group Instant Heal spells in the Rejuvenation specialization line have had their recast timers reduced to 10 minutes.

     

    • The Body Resistance buff spells in the Enhancements specialization line have been moved to the following Levels:
    • From Level 23 to Level 13 – Shield of Health
    • From Level 33 to Level 30 – Guard of Health
    • From Level 45 to Level 40 – Barrier of Health

     

    • The Energy Resistance buff spells in the Enhancements specialization line have been moved to the following Levels:

    • Level 40 – Cure Senses – 3.5s cast time – 30 power cost

     

    • The Single-target Instant Heal spells in the Rejuvenation specialization line have had their recast timers reduced to 5 minutes.

     

    • The Group Instant Heal spells in the Rejuvenation specialization line have had their recast timers reduced to 10 minutes.

     

    • The Cold Resistance buff spells in the Nurture specialization line have been moved to the following Levels:
    • Level 14 – Warmth of the Badger

    • The AoE Disease spells in the Vacuumancy specialization line have had their durations reduced as follows:
    • Level 16 – Entropic Sickness – 30s duration
    • Level 27 – Entropic Illness – 40s duration
    • Level 37 – Entropic Disease – 50s duration
    • Level 47 – Entropic Pestilence – 60s duration

     

    • Increase the radius on the following str/con stat debuff spells in the Vacuumancy specialization:

    Warlock

    • Warlock primers have been changed in the following manner:

      • Primers are now instant cast toggleable “stances”. Only 1 primer can be up at any given time. All secondary spells cast when a given primer is on will use that primer’s penalty/benefits automatically.

        • Primers cannot be changed while in the process of casting a spell.
        • Each Primer has a 1 second re-use.
    • All secondary spells have been changed from instant cast to dexterity-modifiable spells, with new, independently assigned cast times. They will still need to be cast in conjunction with a primer spell.
    • The Range primer now increases spells by percentage rather than a straight range value. This will lessen the range potential of many spells. This spell now affects a PBAOE and AOE spell’s radius as well.
    • Uninterruptable primer has been scaled down at Level 48 to reduce 10% damage instead of 0%.
    • Activating the Powerless primer now raises the cast time of the next secondary spells cast, with lower Level versions of the primer raising cast times more than higher Level versions.

     

    • Warlock Chambers will now behave differently than before:

      • Each chamber now has a defined effect, chambers will no longer be given the ability to load other effects.
      • Chambers will keep their load cast time of 6s and unload restriction of 10s.
      • Chambers can now be unloaded on the move. Loading chambers still requires the Warlock to stand still.

     

    • Additional changes have been made to the Warlock spell lines:
    • Warlocks now receive the Quickcast ability
    • Warlocks now get access to the Mastery of Concentration Realm Ability

    • The level 29 side style, Flank, has been moved to level 15. Its snare effect remains the same.
    • The level 15 anytime style, Misty Gloom, has been moved to level 29. Misty Gloom now follows the Flank style, has had its endurance cost reduced, and been given a 26 damage bleed effect. Its damage has been increased greatly.
    • The level 39 followup style, Shadow’s Rain, is now a side positional attack. It now has a 5s stun effect instead of a 26 damage bleed. Its damage has been reduced slightly.

    Nightshade

    The Nightshade Realm Rank 5 ability, Shadow Shroud, has had its values reduced from 15% damage reduction and 15% chance to be missed down to 10% for both.

    Paladin

    The group endurance chant has been changed to a 20 minute duration group buff that only works within 2000 range of the Paladin who casted it. This buff cannot be interrupted and can now be cast on the move.

    Master Levels

     

    •  The Sojouner ability Forceful Zephyr will no longer cast on players that have already been zephyred for the past 45 seconds. Attempting to use the ability on a player with immunity will result in “You cannot cast that spell” messages and will not reset the re-use timer.

     

    •  The Warlord ability Cowering Bellow can no longer be resisted.

     

    •  The Banelord ability Zone of Unmana once again interrupts enemy players.

     

    Realm Abilities

     

    •  The Mastery of Magery realm ability has been adjusted as follows:

    Level 1 – 2% reduced to 1%

    Level 2 – 3% reduced to 2%

    Level 3 – 4% reduced to 3%

    Level 4 – 6% reduced to 5%

    Level 5 – 8% reduced to 7%

    Level 6 – 10% reduced to 9%

    Level 7 – 12% reduced to 11%

    Level 8 – 14% reduced to 13%

    Level 9 – 16% reduced to 15%

     

    •  The Viper Realm Ability now affects Bleed damage instead of poison damage. The delves of the realm ability remain the same. Viper has been renamed to Hemorrhage.
     

    Animist

     

    •   Pulsing Bladeturn spells will no longer affect fire and forget pets.

     

    •   Animists have been granted access to the Ichor of the Deep Realm Ability.

     

    •   Animists may now summon up to 8 pets instead of 5.

     

    •   The Damage and Debuff spell in the Creeping Path base spell line has had its Body Reistance Debuff reduced to an 8s duration at all levels.

     

    •   Animists have been given a forced full skill and realm respec.
     

    Bard

     

    •   The Health Regeneration Song in the Regrowth Specialization line has been moved to the Nurture Specialization line.

     

    •   The Elemental and Soul Resistance Chants in the Music Specialization line have been moved to the Nurture Specialization line.

     

    •   The Mesmerization Dampening buffs in the Nurture specialization line has had their buff values reduced as follows:

    The level 29 Axe style, Havoc, has had its growth rate slightly increased and defense penalty removed.

    The level 44 Axe style, Arctic Rift, now has a 5s stun effect instead of a bleed. Arctic Rift’s endurance cost has been increased.

    The level 50 Axe style, Tyr’s Fury, now follows the side positional Glacial Movement instead of Havoc. Tyr’s Fury has had its endurance cost reduced and damage slightly increased.

     

    Bonedancer

     

    •   The following adjustments were made to the damage scaling of the baseline Suppression Direct Damage spells:

    Level 4 – Death of Souls – remains 13 damage (Spirit)

    Level 41 – Rapidity – 15% celerity, 6s duration, 5s pulse, 8s re-use, 750 range

    Level 48 – Enhanced Rapidity – 20% celerity, 6s duration, 5s pulse, 8s re-use, 750 range

     

    •   The Champion celerity chant co-exists but does not stack with the crafted celerity tinctures and the casted Warden celerity buff but will overwrite the celerity from the Warden’s Damage Add/Celerity chant.
     
    •  The Level 50 Style Annihilation in the Large Weaponry specialization has been changed to a rear positional attack. This style no longer follows Gigantic Blow. The stun duration has been reduced to 7 seconds.

    •   Warlock primers have been changed in the following manner:
    • Primers are now toggleable “stances”. Only 1 primer can be up at any given time. All secondary spells cast when a given primer is up, will use that primer’s penalty/benefits automatically.
    • All secondary spells have been changed from instant cast to dexterity-modifiable spells, with new, independently assigned cast times. They will still need to be cast in conjunction with a primer spell.
    • The Range primer now increases spells by percentage rather than a straight range value. This will lessen the range potential of many spells. This spell now affects a PBAOE and AOE spell’s radius as well.
    • Uninterruptable primer has been scaled down at level 48 to reduce 10% damage instead of 0%.
    • Activating the Powerless primer now raises the cast time of the next secondary spells cast, with lower level versions of the primer raising cast times more than higher level versions.

     

    •   Warlock Chambers will now behave differently than before:
    • Each chamber now has a defined effect, chambers will no longer be given the ability to load other effects.
    • Chambers will keep their load cast time of 6s and unload restriction of 10s.

     

    •  Additional changes have been made to the Warlock spell lines:
    • Warlocks now receive the Quickcast ability

    • Kept normal casting spreadheal as is.

     

    •   Warlocks have been given a forced full skill and realm respec.

     

    Warrior

     

    •   The Axe specialization has been changed as follows:

    The level 29 Axe style, Havoc, has had its growth rate slightly increased and defense penalty removed.

    The level 44 Axe style, Arctic Rift, now has a 5s stun effect instead of a bleed. Arctic Rift’s endurance cost has been increased.

    The level 50 Axe style, Tyr’s Fury, now follows the side positional Glacial Movement instead of Havoc. Tyr’s Fury has had its endurance cost reduced and damage slightly increased.

     

    Wizard

     

    •  The Bolt spells in the Calefaction specialization line have had their cast times increased to 2.5s.

     

    •   The Nearsight and Matter Resistance Debuff spells in the Calefaction specialization line have been reduced as follows:

    Level 19 – Dusted Vision – 25% Nearsight – 1 minute duration 10% Matter Resistance Debuff – 8s duration

    Level 27 – Encrusted Vision – 35% Nearsight – 1 minute duration 10% Matter Resistance Debuff – 8s duration

    Level 37 – Mire Vision – 45% Nearsight – 1 minute duration 10% Matter Resistance Debuff – 8s duration

    Level 45 – Soil Vision – 55% Nearsight – 1 minute duration – 10% Matter Resistance Debuff – 8s duration

     

    •   The AoE Disease spells in the Liquification specialization line have had their durations reduced as follows:

    Level 17 – Mitigating Cold – 30s duration

    Level 25 – Subduing Cold – 40s duration

    Level 35 – Inhibiting Cold – 50s duration

    Level 45 – Debilitating Cold – 60s duration

     

    •   The Damage and Debuff spells in the Liquification specialization have had their Cold Resistance Debuffs reduced to 10% with an 8s duration at all levels.

     

    •   The AoE Damage and Debuff spells in the Liquification specialization have had their Cold Resistance Debuffs reduced to 10% with an 8s duration at all levels.

     

    •   The Bolt spells in the Path of Fire base spell list have had their cast times increased to 2.5s.

     

    •   The Bolt spells in the Pyromancy specialization line have had their cast times increased to 2.5s.

     

    •  The Damage and Debuff spells in the Pyromancy Specialization line have had their Heat Resistance Debuffs reduced to 10% with an 8s duration at all levels.

     

    Valewalker

     

    •   The Disease spells, including diseases from procs, in the Arboreal Mastery specialization line have had their durations reduced to 1 minute.

     

    •   The Witherstrike disease proc has had it’s chance to proc increased to 20% in the Arboreal line.

     

    •   The Blight Burst pbaoe instant diseae ability has had it’s re-use reduced from 5 minutes to 45s.

     

    •   The Group Damage Add spells in the Arboreal Mastery specialization line have been increased as follows:

    Level 45 – Spurred Weapons – 10.0 dps

    Level 39 – Bristled Weapons – 7.8 dps

    Level 28 – Thorned Weapons – 6.4 dps

     

    Engineering

    •          Added code to attempt to prevent effects of “endo bug” and help find its cause.
    •          Fixed a few potential crash bugs in client.
    •          Fixed several client timing issues related to higher FPS cap

    It’s recently come to our attention that during the past week, customers were experiencing intermittent issues when attempting to submit emails to support@darkageofcamelot.com and dispute@darkageofcamelot.com. The result was some Account and Billing support requests not being processed properly.

    This issue has been corrected. If any customers required Account or Billing assistance during this time frame, please re-submit your requests so that we may resolve any issues you may be having.
