Hot Fix Notes (Pendragon Only)

Class Balance

• The duration on all caster and support instant stat debuffs has been increased back to 45s from 30s. The recast remains at 10s.

Champion Abilities

• The Acolyte, Seer, and Naturalist Champion Ability lines have had some adjustments made to the CL Buffing line, including a new level 5 ability, resurrection.

• All CL15 Weapons have received another itemization pass.
  • All weapons have had their TOA values slightly reduced and normal stats (str, dex, qui, acuity, etc.) slightly increased.
  • All weapons have received new procs or /uses.
  • Several weapons have had their weapon speeds adjusted to more appropriate values
  • Assassin weapons have had their +skill stats adjusted.
  • Friars, Heretics, Wardens, Bards, Druids, Healers, and Shaman now have melee-oriented and support-oriented weapon choices.

Darkness Falls

• Players now receive a 50% bonus to Realm Points, instead of 25%, when adventuring in Darkness Falls.
• Grand Chancellor Adremal, Field Marshal Nebir, and all 4 High Lords have had their difficulty increased slightly.
• Legion has had its difficulty decreased slightly.

• Lilith, all 4 High Lords, Grand Chancellor Adremal, and the 3 Princes now have a small chance to drop additional Daemon Blood Seals when killed.

• The 3 Princes and Princess Nahemah now have a chance to drop new medium and large shields.
  • The old shields have been removed from their loot tables.
  • Their other weapons have not been updated but still have a chance to drop.

• The 4 High Lords now have a chance to drop new bucklers and small shields.
  • The old shields have been removed from their loot tables.
  • Their other weapons have not been updated but still have a chance to drop.

• Gatekeeper Dommel now has a chance to drop new bracers.
  • The old bracers have been removed from his loot table.

• New Diamond Seal currency exchange merchants have been added to each realm’s Darkness Falls merchant area. They will sell the following alternate currencies for the following amount of seals:
  • 100 Atlantean Glass for 150 Diamond Seals
  • 50 Dragon Scales for 100 Diamond Seals
  • 1 Soul/Ice/Root for 100 Diamond Seals

• They will additionally allow converting up from Emerald to Sapphire and Sapphire to Diamond Seals for the following amounts:
  • 20 Diamond Seals for 400 Sapphire Seals
  • 2 Diamond Seals for 40 Sapphire Seals
  • 10 Sapphire Seals for 200 Emerald Seals
  • 2 Sapphire Seals for 40 Emerald Seals

• Legion, Lilith, all 4 High Lords, Grand Chancellor Adremal, and the 3 Princes will no longer drop diamond seals

UPDATE: The ruleset has returned to normal.

Greetings all!

In order to help facilitate testing of the new Darkness Falls encounters, the Pendragon server has been changed to the PvE ruleset for the next 24 hours.

Hop on over and socialize with those other realms, and maybe even join in a raid with them! Saxona, one of our resident Knights of the Roundtable, will be leading one such raid at 3 PM EST / 8 PM GMT today. 

We realize this is short notice, so if others would like to lead a raid while this ruleset change is in effect, let us know and we can see about extending the duration to accomodate.

UPDATE: Maintenance is now complete and Ywain is up once again!

Ywain will be coming down tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th at 8:00am EST / 1:00pm GMT for Amazon server maintenance.

Downtime is expected to be less than 6 hours. We will update the Herald when the server is back online.

It’s been a long month…from our birthday celebrations and Halloween events, to our Comeback to Camelot campaign and our RvR Tournament!

The standings are done and we finally have our winners! I don’t know about anyone else, but I was checking the leaderboards constantly, especially in the final days!

We froze the leaderboards at the stroke of midnight on October 31st and spent the weekend ensuring that all winners participated cleanly and within the spirit of the game. You can view the final standings on the top 100 leaderboards.  Players removed from the leaderboards should check their account email for information regarding the violation they committed.

The winners of the top RPS and Kill/Death ratio in each realm will receive a statue of their winning character created in their realm’s capital city, and a 30 day timecode. These statues will grant a once off quest to players who visit them, with dangerous tasks, but worthy rewards! Look to see these statues in the capitals by week’s end!

There are just under TWO days left in our first ever Realm vs Realm Tournament!

The top 100 leaderboards in each realm are full of impressive performances by some very good players. In appreciation of this fact, we’d like to announce that we’ll be doing a drawing to award 3 lucky players from each realm, that are in their realm’s Top 100 list, with a 30 day Game Time Code! The top RP and Kill/Death ratio winners in each realm will be receiving a 30-Day GTC as well and won’t be eligible to win in the drawing.

The drawing will take place next Monday, November 3rd, once the tournament has concluded and the Leaderboards are set! 

On another note, we wanted to make a quick announcement about how the winners of the tournament will be determined. Tomorrow, October 31st, at the stroke of midnight the Leaderboards will be saved and frozen. We will then spend the weekend ensuring that all winners have participated cleanly, within the spirit of the game, and announce the winners officially on Monday. Any players deemed to have cheated in anyway will be removed from the leaderboards and a final, saved version of the top 100 lists will be saved and archived on the Herald, for all to see on Monday.

Additionally, once the Tournament and Tournament’s drawing winners have been announced, the statues will be erected in the capital cities over the course of next week. With the addition of the statues, there will also be a new quest that can be obtained when visiting each of them. The tasks they will have you embark on will be dangerous but the reward will be worth it!

All Hallows Eve is upon us and that means costume potions (excluding pixies and ghosts) will work in the Frontiers now through the morning of Sunday, November 2nd. Have fun out there, and remember to never trust a Troll dressed up as a Lurikeen!
