The Dragons
Golestandt, the Stone Dragon of Albion
Once, a great castle stood deep in Dartmoor. Hidden in a maze of valleys, it was thought to be the most
secure. However, choke points and fortifications are no real defense against a Dragon on the move,
and the castle's remote location made sending for help impossible. When it became clear some disaster
had befallen the castle, many brave knights were sent to investigate. Golestandt ensured that only
smoking husks of armor were ever found. Perhaps in reaction to this threat of man, the great stone
dragon conjured giants to guard him from Dartmoor's native stone. The castle is his now, and his
guards are vigilant.

Cuuldurach, the Glimmer King of Hibernia
Long ago the land of Sheeroe was dotted with settlements, but the deep fey magic running through
the land drew the attention of the mystical dragon Cuuldurach, who claimed the land for his own.
Sheeroe is now populated primarily by beings composed entirely of magic, much like Cuuldurach
himself. The Glimmer King feeds on raw power emanating from these hills, and rules over the
lesser beings in his new kingdom. He leads an army of glimmers, some of whom may once have
been the men who lived in those fields and valleys. It is said some heroes fall on their own
swords if they sense defeat, rather than risk the dark grasp of Cuuldurach’s corrupting breath.
Gjalpinulva , the Wolf Dragon of Midgard
The great dragon mother Gjalpinulva makes her home in Malmohus, and her great brood guards her.
Her minions the drakulv were born from her blood when she needed protectors, and they are the
most loyal of guardians. She is believed to be Loki's granddaughter, although her exact origin
is shrouded in mystery. No one knows if she is the daughter of Fenris the Wolf or Jörmungandr
the Midgard Serpent, for she carries the strengths of both. It is said that her breath is the
very soul of winter, and her skin is so cold it burns.
