Pendragon Server Downtime - Patch 1.122B

Posted by John Thornhill | 2016 Nov 17 13:00 -0500 GMT
Update: Pendragon is now up, check out the 1.122b Pendragon Test Server Notes here or by clicking the image below!

The Pendragon test server will be coming down tomorrow, November 17th, at 2:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM GMT to deliver Patch 1.122B, including the much-anticipated RvR changes, the Necromancer class revamp, and many more class balance changes!

Notes will follow when Pendragon is back online.

Important Note:
  • We highly suggest separating out your normal game directory from your Pendragon game directory *before* patching and testing on Pendragon.
    • If you do not do this, you *will* experience issues when patching back to live.
      • To force the live client to fix these issues, you will need to delete the mft.myp in your game's directory and run the patcher again.
For those interested in testing on Pendragon, follow the character copy process here!

  • The much-anticipated revamp of the Necromancer class is finally here! But don’t just skip down to read those notes, there’s a ton of other great changes to look forward to as well!
  • RvR changes abound! The return of Nottmoor Faste, Dun Crimthainn, and Caer Berkstead as capturable keeps as well as many familiar towers in some new and interesting locales headline the improvements!
  • You like pets? We’ve got your pet changes right here! Spiritmaster, Bonedancer, Enchanter, Cabalist, and (of course) Necromancer pets and pet-specific specializations have all been given some *major* love. Check out the changes below!
  • Check out the new, permanent Otherworlds Chapter 10 instanced encounter inside the underground keep of Knoc Meayll!
  • Many more RvR and class changes await those brave enough to read on!

Midgard - Ciannie, the Huntress, with 210 captures
Hibernia - Commanderling, the Enchanter, with 472 captures

Overall - Commanderling, the Enchanter

Solo Kill Winners

Hibernia - Roxzie, the Valewalker, with 510 solo kills
Overall - Sixed, the Shadowblade

Skill Index Winners

Midgard - Interqqlolz, the Healer, with a score of 51,860
Hibernia - Farmacist, the Bard, with a score of 68,150
Overall - Farmacist, the Bard

Each winner above will have a statue built in their likeness in their realm's capital city! These statues should be completed within the next few weeks and will grant players who pay homage to them a rewarding quest!

In addition to the above winners, we would also like to congratulate the top 10 winners in each realm, for each category, who will receive a 15 year anniversary poster (90 winners total)!

Each of the top 10 winners will receive an email requesting the address they'd like the poster delivered to - please follow the email's instructions carefully!

If an account has multiple winning characters in the top 10 of multiple categories, the highest placed character among all of the categories will win the poster and the rest will be passed over as only 1 poster per account will be sent out. This means that some of those that finished just outside the top 10 could yet win a poster!

If you won, or even if you're close to winning, please ensure that your account's email address is up to date with a valid, working email and be sure to keep an eye on your spam filter over the next week:  if we don't get a reply, we can't send you your poster!

Congratulations again to everyone and thank you all for participating!

Radar Bans

Posted by John Thornhill | 2016 Oct 12 12:28 -0400 GMT
We are happy to see that the overall number of cheaters from previous passes is much lower this time around though some players still haven't gotten the message. As such, we have issued the following permanent bans and suspensions:

  • A little over one hundred accounts were issued permanent bans for either extreme usage or repeat offenses of radar hacks.
  • Several dozen accounts were issued 7-day suspensions for low usage and first time offenses of radar hacks.

While we're still working towards completely eliminating radar and all other cheats from the game, this is another solid step towards that goal. Happy hunting out there!
