10-4-10 Sweepstake Rules
1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Promotion
begins at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on October 10th, 2005 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on October 20th,
2005 ("Promotional Period"). No entries received by Mythic Entertainment, Inc. ("Mythic") after that date
and time will be considered. Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing as described below from among all eligible entries received.
2) HOW TO ENTER: There are two methods of entry:
Method #1: You automatically receive one (1) entry in this sweepstakes as a current
and active subscriber in good standing to Dark Age of Camelot during the Promotional
Period. Method #2: Access the "10-4-10" Sweepstakes web site page online at
http://www.mythicentertainment.com/10-4-10/
during the Promotional Period and complete
and submit the entry form as instructed. Method #3: Access the Warhammer web site page
online at http://www.warhammeronline.com during the
Promotional Period and complete and
submit the entry form as instructed. For methods #2 and #3 you must complete all required
information on the online entry form to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per
person/e-mail address, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries submitted by a
single entrant render all entries from that entrant void. Releasees (as defined below)
assume no responsibility for lost, late, illegible, garbled or misdirected entries, or
for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may
occur. Incomplete entries are void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor
and will not be returned.
3) WINNER SELECTION One Prize will be awarded to each of ten winners
selected at 10:00am EST during each day of the Promotional Period in a random drawing from among
all then current eligible entries received. Seven daily winners will be drawn from eligible current and active
Dark Age of Camelot subscribers, three daily winners will be drawn from the Warhammer mail list and 10-4-10 sweepstake entries.
Decisions as to winners and winner eligibility are final
on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Entrants are eligible to win only one (1) prize during this sweepstakes. Winners will be notified via email.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize or return a completed and
executed affidavit and release as required within 7 days from the drawing, an alternative winner will be
selected from among the remaining eligible entries.
4) PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: All prizes shall be awarded.
For each day of the Promotional Period one set of ten of the following prizes will be awarded. Ten (10)
Dark Age of Camelot Notebooks, approximate retail value (ARV) $25 each. Ten (10) Warhammer Collectible
Card Game Sets (Hordes of Darkness Starter Kit and Grand Alliance Set) ARV $24 each. Ten (10) Dark Age
of Camelot Baseball Caps ARV $15 each. Ten (10) Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing Rule Books ARV $35 each.
Ten (10) Dark Age of Camelot Pewter Goblets ARV $50 each. Ten (10) Dark Age of Camelot Epic Boxes + Strategy
Guide ARV $60 each. Ten (10) Warhammer sets of Gotrek & Felix Novel series [7 books] ARV $50 each. Ten (10)
Tickets to the next Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable event ARV $100 each. Ten (10) Warhammer Beta Accounts Day
ARV $0. Ten (10) Free 4 Year Dark Age of Camelot subscriptions ARV $549.60. Any expenses not explicitly
listed herein, including any applicable tax on the prize related to the acceptance and use of the prize
is the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are nontransferable and no substitution, barter, transfer,
assignment or cash equivalent is allowed, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize
with another of comparable or greater value. Prizes are awarded "as is" and any and all guarantees and
warranties are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to
such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim. All players are bound by the terms of the
EUALA of the software game titles and membership may be terminated at the sole discretion of Mythic
Entertainment with no further compensation due to the winner. Four year subscriptions may be limited
to the duration of offering of the game title "Dark Age of Camelot" to subscribers. Mythic may choose
at its sole discretion to not hold a Dark Age of Camelot Roundtable event. If such event is not held
by December 31st 2006 Mythic may substitute a prize of equal or comparable to the $100 face value of
the ticket. Shipping costs within the U.S. will be covered by Mythic Entertainment.
5) ELIGIBILITY: Open only to current U.S. residents submitting entries
from within the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Mythic Entertainment,
and anyone working on the product, project or promotion, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate
family members (parents, spouse, siblings, children) or anyone who lives in the same household of each (whether
related or not) are not eligible. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the
decisions of Mythic, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this promotion. Void in Puerto Rico
and where prohibited by law.
6) GENERAL CONDITIONS: The laws of the United States govern this promotion.
Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and
the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all
requirements set forth herein in a timely manner. Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit
of Eligibility and Liability Release and where legal, Publicity Release within 14 days following the date of
issuance of notification. Non-compliance within this time period or return of any notification as undeliverable
may result in disqualification. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use
winner's name, voice, picture and other likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes without
additional compensation unless prohibited by law. No more than the quantity of prizes listed in these rules
will be awarded.
7) INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or
software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete,
garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or
programming associated with or utilized in this game or by any human error which may occur in the processing
of the entries in this promotion. If, in Mythic's sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of
tampering with any portion of the game, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the game,
Mythic reserve the right to terminate the game and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all
eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of termination. Use of automated entry devices or
programs is prohibited. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address,
the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at
time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail
address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business,
educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated
with the submitted e-mail address.
8) WAIVER: By entering this promotion, participant waives all rights
to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, or attorneys' fees and agrees to release and hold
harmless the Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, agencies,
suppliers and advertising, promotional and judging organizations and each of their respective employees,
officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively, the "Releasees") from and against any and all
claims, actions, and/or liability for any loss, injuries and/or damages (including, without limitation,
any death or disability) sustained in connection with use of a prize or related to participation in this
promotion.
